BERRÍ

The defining interior outline of the existing space, situated within one of Providence’s older downtown storefronts, created parameters that called for minimal design. Working in plan and section together, the parallels of each extend to outline private seating, kitchen, bar and ceiling grid.

The wood-fin ceiling structure allows for places of intimacy and warmth within the material palette chosen while providing an acoustic ease.

This restaurant is a space for food, for people, for drink, for flowers and plants. It is a place for color and light to move throughout the minimal gallery-like walls and to continually change and grow.
